Your wedding dress should fit perfectly on the most important day. We alter wedding dresses, evening gowns and other celebration outfits with care and experience – from small adjustments to full refitting.

How the fitting works
Book a fitting and bring the shoes and any underwear you plan to wear on the day – both change how the dress sits. We pin the alterations on you, agree the details together, and where the work is extensive we arrange a second fitting before the final finish. Wedding dresses are almost always worth booking in advance rather than dropping off.
Timing and prices
Reserve a few weeks before the wedding so there is room for a second fitting and any adjustments. Pricing depends on the dress and the work involved – taking in a bodice, shortening a lined hem and adjusting straps are all quoted at the fitting, based on our hourly rate of 65 € for detailed handwork. An express service is available at a 25% surcharge if the date is close.

When should I book a fitting?

How long do the alterations take?
Standard turnaround is about one week. For urgent jobs we offer an express service (+25% surcharge).
Do you alter other formal wear too?
Yes – we alter evening gowns, prom dresses and men’s suits as well.
What should I bring to the fitting?
Bring the shoes and the underwear you intend to wear on the day, since both affect how the dress hangs and where the hem should fall.
Do you alter dresses bought online or second-hand?
Yes. Dresses bought online or second-hand very often need adjusting, and altering one to fit you properly is usually far cheaper than buying new.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards, as well as mobile payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
